About Your Company

King Deux is partnering with a leading global investment firm at the intersection of financial theory and practical application. Founded in 1990s, the firm is a pioneer in quantitative and systematic investing, managing a diverse suite of alternative and traditional strategies with over 180B USD AUM. Driven by an academic culture of rigorous research, data analysis, and intellectual honesty, this asset manager challenges market assumptions to deliver superior, long-term results for institutional and wealth clients worldwide.

We are looking for an APAC institutional sales to cover the full spectrum of multi asset funds in both open and close end structure. You will join a team of 5, manage existing networks of intermediaries and distribution channels and support the direct sales for APAC institutions (i.e. pension funds, SWF, endowments, etc)

About your role

  • Business Generation: Originate and secure new asset management opportunities across Asian private banks, wealth managers, and intermediary channels.

  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for existing distribution partners, delivering premium post-sale service to maximize client retention.

  • Strategic Advising: Conduct consultative, solutions-based discussions regarding portfolio construction, asset allocation, and AQR’s quantitative investment strategies.

  • Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with regional colleagues and global portfolio management, research, and client service teams to support product development and business strategy.

What you will need to succeed

  • Experience: 7–10 years of institutional or wealth management client-facing experience, with a proven track record of asset raising in Asia.

  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of equities, liquid alternatives (hedge funds), and systematic/quantitative investment methodologies.

  • Network & Language: An established network within the Asian private banking ecosystem.

  • Full professional fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory.
