Rapyuta Robotics, an ETH Zurich spinoff, operates with the goal of making robots more accessible to anyone in the logistics industry. As Vice President, India GCC, you will grow and operate Rapyuta Robotics’ Chennai Global Capability Center as a strategic capability center for engineering, operations, and business support. You will strengthen functional leadership, scale the site with high standards, and ensure Chennai becomes a trusted execution hub for global teams.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Grow and operate the Chennai GCC — Strengthen the operating model, hiring plan, leadership structure, and cross-region rhythm.

• Strengthen functional leadership — Hire missing leaders, coach existing leaders, and clarify ownership across GCC functions.

• Own execution quality — Ensure GCC teams deliver reliable outcomes across robotics software, application software, data and analytics, cloud/platform, L2 support, and IT operations.

• Maintain technical standards — Bring enough technical depth to challenge assumptions, evaluate tradeoffs, and connect engineering decisions to business outcomes.

• Build culture — Create a humble, confident, purpose-driven team culture with ownership, collaboration, and long-term commitment.

Requirements:

• Strong technical credibility and curiosity, with the ability to go deep and connect technology to business outcomes.

• Experience leading and scaling teams, including hiring, coaching leaders, setting expectations, and resolving organizational issues.

• Track record in complex execution, preferably in robotics, industrial automation, logistics technology, deep-tech, or enterprise software.

• Long-term, purpose-driven mindset suited to building logistics infrastructure over years, not quarters.

• Humble but confident leadership style with strong English communication and ability to work across Japan, India, and global teams.
