Working in close partnership with academic affairs, enrollment management, the college’s three schools, and the broader Winter Park and Orlando communities, this highly visible leader will pair warmth and accessibility with sound judgment, financial acumen, knowledge of best practices, and the resolve to translate ideas into action to help strengthen retention, steward resources, develop staff, and ensure that every Rollins student can thrive on campus and beyond.
At Rollins College, the Division of Student Affairs is committed to the holistic development of students and to creating transformative educational experiences that extend beyond the classroom. As Student Affairs educators, the Division’s work is grounded in established and vetted theories of student development, evidence-based practices, and educational models that support students’ well-being and intellectual, personal, social, and ethical growth.
The Division of Student Affairs at Rollins College advances the mission of the College in strong collaboration with Academic Affairs by co-creating and maintaining an environment that fosters intellectual, social, and personal learning and growth for students. They are an experienced student affairs executive leader with broad portfolio expertise, regulatory fluency, financial acumen, and a deep commitment to college students.
The Division’s work is guided by national standards and ethical principles for the field of Student Affairs. Student Affairs educators engage students in empathetic learning, support the development of coherent values, establish and communicate high expectations for meaningful and critical exchange, and use systematic inquiry to strengthen student learning and institutional effectiveness. The Division strives to use resources equitably in support of the College’s missions and goals, build educational partnerships that advance student learning, wellness, and foster supportive and inclusive communities. These principles provide a foundation for how the Division advances its vision as Student Affairs educators at Rollins College.
