We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
• Develop a thorough understanding of the client base.
• Drive revenue growth across China Financial Institutional client portfolio and International Financial institution clients investing into China.
• Identify marketing opportunities, undertake appropriate analysis and preparation of proposals, presentations and pitches for new products and services.
• Conduct client meetings and presentations as well as contribute to the high quality of client meetings.
• Ensure prompt and appropriate response to customer enquiries and concerns by liaising with product and support teams.
• Contribute to achievement against targets for revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction and cost containment of the team.
• Liaise with regional counterparts acting as central point of contact for local matters.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including product partners.
• Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal & external rules, regulations & procedures.
• Act as the First Line of Defence to protect HSBC against Financial Crime and to ensure credit risk arising from the relationship with the clients is proactively managed at all times.
• As an employee of a Tong Ye Zhuan Ying department, the person should meet /comply with the requirements associated with the function and complete the relevant annual training and courses.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Knowledge of industry and exposure to China financial industry, local & global institutional client market & regulatory environment.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of banking, markets and securities services products.
• Preferably knowledge of HSBC Group and products coupled with a strong network of contacts across business areas.
• Advanced understanding of risk management, risk mitigation and Client Due Diligence risks.
• Excellent team player with a proactive approach and strong interpersonal, sales and communication skills.
• Highly motivated, eager to accept new challenges and able to work under pressure.
• The ability to form effective relationships and exercise influence at the most senior level of the organization, both internally and externally.
• A strong understanding of risk management and risk mitigation.
• Uphold the highest level of integrity and act as a role model for all HSBC values and business principles.
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and perform to the highest standards.
