Article Student Living is hiring a Vice President of Facilities to lead facilities across our national student housing portfolio. You will set the vision and drive the strategy for facilities operations while overseeing a team of 4–6 geographically dispersed Regional Facilities Managers. In this role, you will establish the standards, schedules, and priorities that keep every asset safe, reliable, and consistent. This role operates at the 30,000-foot view, shaping portfolio-wide direction while serving as a key escalation point to help triage complex facilities challenges across regions.
As the Vice President of Facilities, you will provide strategic leadership across the portfolio, driving maintenance excellence, capital planning, asset preservation, and process optimization. You will work closely with our Director of Training to develop regional facilities teams and align talent development initiatives with operational goals. The ideal candidate combines executive presence with operational expertise, possessing the ability to effectively communicate and build alignment with our leadership team, while also connecting with and leading onsite maintenance teams through a deep understanding of major building systems, property operations, and site-level execution.
