A global logistics leader connecting the world

As our new Vice President for Industrial Contract Logistics, you will have the opportunity to be based at Hedehusene, Denmark, but for the right candidate you could be based at any of DSV’s offices across Europe, working in a truly global setting. From Copenhagen and Amsterdam to Milan and Madrid – these are just a few of the many locations where you can be based.

Lead the global Industrial Contract Logistics agenda

You will be responsible for driving the commercial success of DSV’s Industrial Contract Logistics business globally. Working across regions and business units, you will translate strategic ambitions into actionable commercial plans while ensuring strong customer retention, profitable growth, and high customer satisfaction across complex international accounts.

You will lead a global team of Global Account Directors and Business Development Managers, acting as both a strategic leader and a trusted commercial partner to key industrial customers worldwide. Your role involves close collaboration with regional leadership teams as well as the enterprise vertical lead.

More specifically, you will:

• Lead, develop, and inspire your global commercial team focused on customer growth and commercial excellence
• Translate global strategy into measurable commercial initiatives and ensure consistent implementation across international accounts
• Strengthen long-term relationships with key industrial customers while acting as a senior strategic partner
• Drive customer retention, new business development, profitability, and customer satisfaction through strong account management
• Monitor commercial performance, revenue, and margin targets while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

In addition, we imagine that you:

• Bring significant commercial leadership experience (10+ years) within global supply chain and logistics
• Hold a relevant university degree with solid analytical and professional foundations
• Have proven success managing large and complex international customer portfolios while delivering sustainable growth across multiple regions
• Possess sound industrial industry knowledge alongside excellent negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
• Communicate professionally in English – any additional language skills are an advantage
