  • Conduct periodic credit reviews for existing borrowers and prepare credit applications for new borrowers, which involved the preparation of credit submission package comprising mainly Credit Application Summary (“CAS”), Executive Summary (“ES”) or Credit Memo, Credit and Compliance checklists.
  • Liaise with Relationship Managers to check on compliance of terms and conditions imposed on the credit facilities and update of applicable remarks during periodic credit reviews.
  • Perform effective and comprehensive sanity checks on credit submissions prior to submission, to ensure accuracy, internal consistency, and completeness, thereby minimizing rework, improving review efficiency, and supporting timely credit decision‑making. Ensure all credit submissions are fully compliant with the Bank’s policies and requirements.
  • Actively participate in audit, stress testing, portfolio review, credit risk monitoring and other ad hoc tasks, providing sound judgment, coordination, and execution support.
  • Ensure full compliance with submission deadlines set by Business Head / Centre Head / Team Head for all credit cases. Work closely with RM to ensure timely and complete submission of credit applications to Credit, with adequate quality to avoid rework. Ensure zero overdue credit reviews arising from late submission and/or credit application quality issues.
  • Assist in streamline credit workflow processes within Commercial Banking and other related departments.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff, and drive efficiency for Credit Analyst Team.
  • Support Credit Analyst Team Head and assist in ad hoc projects, where applicable.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Admin or relevant concentrations.
  • At least 15 years credit analysis experience in commercial or corporate banking sector.
  • Sound credit and business knowledge in commercial or corporate banking space and regulatory requirement.
  • Language proficiency (Written & spoken) in English I Mandarin I Cantonese.
  • Strong at analytical/ logical presentations.
  • Self-motivated, detail-minded and customer focused.
  • Good time management & able to work under pressure.
  • Able and willing to work and share with peers to achieve common key performance goals.
  • Proficiency in PC applications.
  • Holder of ECF on Credit Risk Management (CRM) accredited by The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) is preferred
