Job Title: Vice President, Commercial

Location: United States (Remote)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Vice President, Commercial will lead and unify revenue growth across Sitero's two core businesses — eClinical technology (Mentor + SiteroAI) and full-service clinical operations. This leader owns commercial strategy, pipeline development, and quota for both, building a cohesive go-to-market that reflects Sitero's integrated, AI-powered model.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial Strategy & Growth

• Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Sitero's integrated offering, positioning AI-powered technology and clinical services as a single value proposition
• Set global revenue targets and own pipeline, forecasting, and bookings across all service and technology offerings
• Partner with product, medical, and delivery leadership to keep the commercial motion ahead of the market

Dual-Track Sales Leadership

• Design distinct sales motions, processes, and team structures for software and clinical services sales cycles
• Engage diverse buyers — from CTOs evaluating eClinical soluions to CMOs/VPs of Clinical Operations scoping Phase I-IV trials
• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles from first engagement through close

AI-Forward Positioning

• Bring SiteroAI to market credibly, articulating how efficiency gains across the clinical development lifecycle impact sponsor programs, budgets, and timelines
• Collaborate with product and science teams to ensure the AI narrative is grounded in demonstrated outcomes

Team Building & Talent

• Recruit, develop, and lead a global commercial team spanning business development, account management, Marketing and commercial operations
• Build scalable commercial infrastructure, including processes, tools, compensation plans, and forecasting

Strategic Accounts & Partnerships

• Personally own executive-level relationships with key sponsors and partners
• Position Sitero as a long-term strategic partner rather than a transactional vendor

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 10-15+ years of commercial experience within the CRO, eClinical technology, and/or life sciences services industry
• Proven track record selling complex, multi-year engagements to pharma and biotech sponsors
• Experience selling both technology platforms and clinical services programs strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success building commercial functions and teams from the ground up
• Strong understanding of AI in clinical development, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into sponsor-relevant outcomes
• Executive presence and ability to foster a culture of accountability within a collaborative, science-first environment
