Vice President China R&D

Your tasks

1. Strategic Leadership
• Define and execute the China R&D strategy in alignment with global technology and business priorities.
• Develop integrated technology roadmaps across RF, LF, and FO.
• Drive a “local for local” approach with increasing contribution to global platforms.
2. Organizational Development
• Build a high performing, technically strong R&D organization.
• Foster a collaborative, cross functional culture that supports knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
3. Project & Execution Management
• Oversee the full R&D project portfolio and set priorities to maximize business impact.
• Ensure delivery performance on cost, quality, materials, and lead time.
• Lead NPI execution from concept through Industrialization and mass production ramp up.
4. Market & Customer Support
• Provide timely technical support to Industry, Communication, and Transportation customers.
• Guide application engineering, technical specifications, and customized solution delivery.
5. Innovation & Intellectual Property
• Promote cross technology innovation and collaboration.
• Lead the China IP strategy, including identification, protection, and management of patents and technology assets.

Your profile

• Master’s degree or above in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field
• Strong technical expertise in LF (HPC or wire & cable) or microwave technologies
• 5+ years of R&D leadership with multi disciplinary team management
• Experience in global matrix organizations
• Strong customer orientation and communication skills
• Full professional proficiency in English is required; knowledge of German is an advantage
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
