Job Description

We are seeking a Vice President, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Post-Acute Services to lead and advance operational performance across our post-acute care continuum. This executive will play a critical role in driving growth, enhancing patient outcomes, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple facilities.

Reporting to the Hospitals Division President, the COO will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that improve access, quality, patient experience, physician and employee engagement, and financial performance. This is a highly visible leadership role with broad organizational impact and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational leadership across post-acute services, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Execute strategic initiatives that drive growth, operational efficiency, and performance improvement
  • Partner with executive, clinical, and physician leaders to align operational and organizational priorities
  • Oversee quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and patient experience outcomes
  • Lead financial planning and operational performance, including budgeting and resource optimization
  • Build, develop, and retain high-performing leadership teams
  • Represent post-acute services with internal and external stakeholders, including community partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field required
  • Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or related field) preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations required
  • Experience managing across multiple disciplines in a healthcare setting required
  • Experience in a multi-hospital system preferred
