Job Description

Executive Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute a global business development vision aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Partner with the C-suite to shape long-term growth strategies, market penetration plans, and competitive positioning.
  • Anticipate industry shifts, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to maintain market leadership.

Market Expansion & Revenue Growth

  • Drive entry into new geographies and sectors, leveraging data-driven insights to prioritise opportunities.
  • Build and nurture relationships with regional conglomerates and key industry influencers.
  • Oversee complex, high-value negotiations and ensure profitable outcomes across multi-million-dollar deals.

Enterprise-Level Partnerships

  • Establish strategic alliances with carriers, technology innovators, and global logistics networks.
  • Develop frameworks for joint ventures and collaborative models that enhance service offerings and operational scalability.

Leadership & Organisational Development

  • Inspire and lead a high-performing business development team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
  • Mentor senior leaders and ensure succession planning for critical roles.

Financial Stewardship

  • Own P&L responsibility for the business development function.
  • Set and monitor revenue targets, ROI metrics, and pricing strategies to maximise profitability.
  • Present performance insights and strategic recommendations to the Board and executive committees.

Compliance & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure adherence to international trade regulations and compliance standards.
  • Champion best practices in logistics and supply chain management to deliver superior client experiences
