The BDI Peripheral Intervention (PI) META, VP is responsible for the strategic, commercial, and operational leadership of the Peripheral Intervention business across region. This role has full P&L accountability and drives profitable, balanced growth through strong regional strategy, disciplined commercial execution, portfolio development, and deep customer and clinical engagement, in alignment with global BDI PI priorities.
The role is a key member of the META Leadership Team and partners closely with Global BDI Peripheral Intervention leadership to deliver regional and enterprise objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Define and implement the BDI Peripheral Intervention strategy for the META region, aligned with global platform and corporate priorities.
Develop and own the three‑year strategic, operational, and financial plan for the PI business in META.
Identify and capitalize on market opportunities across arterial, venous, and endovascular segments.
Build regional portfolio, market access, and clinical strategy based on competitive intelligence and healthcare system dynamics.
Financial & P&L Accountability
Full P&L ownership, including revenue, gross margin, and OIBT performance.
Deliver annual operating plan commitments with strong forecasting accuracy and financial rigor.
Drive pricing governance, portfolio mix optimization, and balanced margin expansion.
Commercial Excellence & Go‑To‑Market
Define and continuously optimize Go‑To‑Market models across countries, channels, and customer segments.
Partner with Country GMs to ensure consistent execution of commercial excellence initiatives.
Lead new product launches, adoption, and lifecycle management in collaboration with Global PI teams.
Build and maintain strong executive‑level relationships with key customers, clinicians, KOLs, and strategic partners.
Cross‑Functional & Matrix Leadership
Collaborate closely with Global PI, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, and Medical Affairs teams.
Ensure end‑to‑end compliance with BD quality systems, regulatory requirements, and business conduct standards.
Drive operational rigor, performance management, and continuous improvement across the region.
People & Organization Leadership
Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing regional Peripheral Intervention leadership team
Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, inclusion, and customer focus.
Develop robust succession plans and leadership pipelines for critical PI roles.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
Experience
Extensive senior leadership experience within peripheral intervention, cardiovascular, endovascular, or related medical device segments
Demonstrated track record of P&L ownership and profitable growth across multi‑country regions.
Experience operating successfully within matrixed, global organizations
Proven capability to lead transformation, portfolio growth, and change in regulated healthcare environments.

Additional Information
Role requires extensive travel across META markets.
Position operates in a highly regulated healthcare environment with significant governance requirements.
