This role will lead the European Resolution Group (ERG) offshore Recovery and Resolution Planning Office (RRO) team. The RRO team is the custodian of the Global Recovery and Resolution Strategy (and locally where required), which includes the management of our capabilities to recover from severe stress and if unsuccessful our ability to be resolved and restructured in an orderly way. The role is responsible for providing high quality, timely and accurate information, analysis and reporting to support our three main deliverables.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead accurate and timely MI and Reporting to Global Treasury and Recovery and Resolution Teams. Maintain strong collaborative working relationship with agreed stakeholders
  • Works to ensure that the outputs are of a high quality, reflecting accepted regulatory policy and standards with transparent and robust control procedures that withstand internal and external scrutiny
  • Risk, Liquidity or Capital expertise and knowledge – to help drive explain and commentary. The role will also support strategic changes to improve our planning including efficiencies and improvements in RRP.
  • Manage RRP outputs in a timely and accurate way ensuring collaboration with information providers, RRP (Recovery and Resolution Planning) Restructuring and Management Actions, RRP Governance and Strategy, RRP Management and Delivery
  • The role holder will be a First Level of Defense (1LOD) role aligned to the Global RRO supporting the team across Recovery and Resolution Planning. The role will entail:
  • Developing the standards, controls and documentation to support the identification, design and validation of management actions. Lead preparation of regulatory returns relating to resolution capabilities.
  • Maintaining the Global management actions library in line with the standards across Group, regions and legal entities, covering both quantitative (recovery capacity) and qualitative information.
  • Proactive stakeholder engagement with peers and senior management across Regional/LE Functions and Business Lines to ensure the management actions standards and controls are adhered to and the completeness, accuracy and credibility of all management actions
  • Supporting RRP Management and Delivery of the gathering and writing process of required plans and reports. Assist the development and maintenance of the Group Recovery Plan (GRP) and local plans for submission to regulators Supporting management in enhancing, maintaining the Restructuring Strategy Support testing, capability proving and improvement processing within Recovery and Resolution
  • Help review and challenge documentation from the capabilities maintained within businesses, functions and legal entities to support required submissions. Supporting the delivery of annual process to reassess potential financial interdependency barriers or other barriers to resolution as required.
  • Lead the European Resolution Group (ERG) India RRO team from an entity management perspective and support the Functional Manager with local people and operational management.

To be successful you will:

  • Graduate/ Postgraduate with 12- 19 years of experience with 10 yrs relevant experience in Treasury or Finance regulatory areas
  • Experience in report writing and governance management.
  • Proven experience in Liquidity reporting, capital reporting, change management, transformation
  • Experience in managing teams, Lead and support the overall performance of the team to ensure meeting the challenges of internal and external demands
  • Delivery of complex data requirements to satisfy internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong data/Systems background or strong risk data or regulatory reporting background is essential
  • Experience in gathering complex information and presenting the information in a digestible manner. Organised and works well to deadlines.
  • Strong data mining and analytical skills, including hands on experience in managing large volumes of data with a proven ability to interpret and comment on data issues.
  • Extensive knowledge of risk regulations Strong data analytical skills
