
Compensation: $35–$45/hour, based on experience and qualifications
VERG Brooklyn is looking for an experienced Veterinary Oncology Technician to join our specialty team.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our Oncology team to care for patients throughout their cancer treatment journey. From assisting with chemotherapy treatments and diagnostic procedures to supporting patients and their families during difficult moments, you’ll play an important role in providing compassionate, high-quality care.

Your work makes a meaningful impact: Oncology patients often return to us throughout their treatment, giving you the opportunity to build relationships with both pets and their families. You’ll be an important part of helping patients stay comfortable while receiving the care they need.
You’ll work alongside a specialty team: You’ll collaborate closely with our oncologists, technicians, assistants, and other specialty departments to provide coordinated care for complex cases.

As a Veterinary Oncology Technician, you’ll work directly with our Oncology team to support appointments, treatments, procedures, and ongoing patient care.
Your responsibilities may include:
You have experience working as a veterinary technician or assistant and are comfortable providing hands-on patient care in a busy hospital environment. Specialty, oncology, emergency, or referral experience is strongly preferred.
