Marin Pet Hospital is seeking an experienced or licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated and compassionate team. We work collaboratively to provide an exceptional standard of patient care because we believe caring for our patients starts with caring for one another.

What You’ll Do

• Support veterinarians in providing high-quality, compassionate medical care
• Assist with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
• Safely handle and restrain patients using fear-free and low-stress techniques
• Anticipate the needs of DVMs to support smooth, efficient patient care
• Collect and prepare diagnostic samples as appropriate
• Administer medications and treatments under veterinarian direction
• Assist with surgical preparation, anesthesia, monitoring, and patient recovery as appropriate to your training and skill level
• Educate clients about preventive care, treatments, medications, and their pets’ ongoing health needs
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
• Maintain complete and accurate patient medical records
• Collaborate closely with fellow technicians, veterinarians, and support team members
• Contribute to a positive, uplifting hospital environment
