VERG Brooklyn is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our growing Internal Medicine team.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our internists to care for patients with complex medical needs. You’ll assist with advanced procedures, provide hands-on nursing care, and help clients feel informed and supported throughout their pet’s treatment.

Your work makes a meaningful impact: Internal Medicine patients often need ongoing care. You’ll have the opportunity to get to know them and their families while helping them navigate diagnosis, treatment, and at-home care.
You’ll work alongside a specialty team: You’ll collaborate with our internists, technicians, assistants, and other departments to provide coordinated care for complex cases.
You’ll continue growing: Our 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital offers exposure to advanced procedures and challenging cases. We also offer VTS mentorship in Internal Medicine.
VERG Brooklyn is a 24/7 emergency and specialty veterinary hospital serving pets and their families throughout the tri-state area. Our teams provide advanced care across departments including Emergency and Critical Care, Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Oncology.

As an Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician, you’ll support appointments, diagnostic procedures, treatments, and ongoing patient care.
Your responsibilities may include:
You have strong veterinary nursing skills, close attention to detail, and an interest in complex medical cases. Internal Medicine or other specialty experience is preferred.

This position follows a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule. Specific days and hours will be discussed during the interview process.
