Position Details

  • Role: Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician
  • Status: Full-Time
  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday with one Saturday shift per month (8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.)

Advanced Care Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our exceptional team. If you have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping both pets and people, we'd love to meet you.

We are a thriving small-animal and exotic practice committed to providing high-quality medicine and surgery to patients throughout the region. Our four-doctor team works alongside highly trained support staff in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that encourages learning and professional growth.

Located just outside Tulsa near Jenks, Sapulpa, and Glenpool, our hospital is equipped with advanced technology, including digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, underwater treadmill rehabilitation, in-house laboratory equipment, and more. We also offer chiropractic, acupuncture, and rehabilitation services, allowing us to provide comprehensive care for our patients.

What You’ll Do

  • Safely handle and restrain patients during examinations and procedures
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments
  • Obtain diagnostics, including radiographs, phlebotomy, laboratory samples, and in-house laboratory testing
  • Provide attentive nursing care and support patient comfort
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members
  • Maintain accurate patient records and client communication notes
  • Assist with clinic cleanliness, husbandry, laundry, and stocking supplies
  • Support daily hospital operations to ensure an efficient workflow
