What Our Veterinary Technicians Do

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgical procedures, and dental procedures
  • Perform venipuncture, place IV catheters, and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
  • Monitor anesthesia and patient vital signs during procedures
  • Collect and process laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs
  • Provide compassionate nursing care for hospitalized patients
  • Educate clients on medications, preventive care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
  • Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
  • Anticipate the needs of the veterinary team to promote efficiency and exceptional patient care
  • Maintain clean, organized treatment and exam areas while following hospital safety protocols
