Veterinary Technician | Up to $39/hr
Location: Woburn, MA
Schedule: Full-Time | Multiple Department Options Available
Compensation: Up to $39/hour + Additional Earning Potential for VTS Technicians


Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, MA is hiring experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our Surgery and Emergency departments! This full-time Veterinary Technician opportunity is ideal for a Vet Tech looking to expand advanced clinical skills, work with high-acuity cases, and grow within a Level 1 Emergency & Critical Care specialty animal hospital.

You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians and a collaborative team committed to advanced veterinary medicine.

Compensation

  • Emergency: up to $35/hour, based on experience and skill level
  • VTS experience and advanced technical skills may qualify for additional compensation

Schedule

  • Emergency and specialty hospital environment, including potential weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts depending on team needs

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced nursing care for emergency and surgery patients
  • Monitor sedation, pain management, and post-operative recovery
  • Support DVMs with diagnostics, treatments, procedures, and patient care plans
  • Triage and monitor high-acuity emergency patients
  • Communicate clearly with doctors, teammates, and clients
  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital protocols
  • Work collaboratively across ER, surgery, and specialty teams

Qualifications

  • Veterinary Technician experience required
  • CVT, RVT, or LVT a bonus!
  • Emergency, surgery, or specialty experience strongly preferred
  • Strong patient monitoring, technical nursing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency and specialty hospital environment
  • Team-focused mindset with a commitment to patient care and client service
  • Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
