Veterinary Technician | Emergency | Overnights | 3 Twelve Hour Shifts Per Week | $18-$32 per hour | Overnight Shift Differential $4/hr (7pa-7am) | Full-Time Benefits | Monroeville, PA

Schedule and Compensation:

• Full-time - 3rd shift
• 3 twelve hour shifts per week
• $18-$32/hr dependent on experience and skillset
• Shift differentials available!
• • $4/hr for hours worked between 7pm & 7am

Qualifications:

• Veterinary Technician License (LVT, CVT, or RVT) preferred, but not required
• Foundational veterinary knowledge, including patient restraint, triage, imaging, laboratory skills, and venipuncture.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to stay calm and organized under pressure.
• Provide excellent customer service and interact with clients in a manner that supports Avets' mission to provide state of the art medicine and compassionate care for pets and the people who love them.
• Work with fellow team members to maintain a productive, positive and respectful environment. All technical staff, regardless of the level of experience, must be able to stand, bend, lift, and/or kneel for the duration of a shift (12 hours), and lift a minimum of twenty five pounds.
• Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.

Prior emergency experience preferred, but not required. Certified Veterinary Technicians or license eligible candidates will be given the highest consideration.
