East Valley Veterinary Hospital is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced, collaborative small animal practice in Salt Lake City, Utah.
We are looking for a technician with 2–3+ years of hands-on experience who is confident supporting anesthesia, surgery, and exam room flow in a busy hospital environment.
This is a great opportunity for a technician who thrives in a high-energy setting and wants to continue building advanced technical skills — especially in dentistry and anesthesia.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and same-day drop-offs
• Induce and monitor anesthesia for surgical and dental procedures
• Prepare patients for surgery and support recovery
• Collect blood, urine, and fecal samples and run in-house labs
• Take and position radiographs
• Educate clients on treatment plans and preventive care
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment

Schedule
• Open to Full-Time or Part-Time
• Target schedule: 4×10-hour shifts when possible
• Part-time option: 2–3 shifts per week
• Saturday availability highly preferred

Compensation
• Up to $22–$23/hour, based on experience
• Highly experienced candidates strongly encouraged to apply

Qualifications
• 2–3+ years of veterinary technician experience required
• Strong anesthesia and surgical support skills
• Comfortable working in both exam rooms and treatment
• Able to thrive in a fast-moving, team-driven hospital
