We are a five doctor practice that offers both general and urgent/emergent care. We are seeking an experienced or licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team by April 2026. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch care to our furry, feathered, and scaled patients.
Veterinary Technician Responsibilities & Duties
·Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgeries
·Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian
·Perform routine laboratory procedures such as blood draws, urinalysis, and fecal exams
·Collect and perform laboratory tests on blood, urine, and tissue samples
·Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgical procedures
·Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery of animals
·Maintain accurate medical records for each patient
·Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures
·Educate pet owners on proper nutrition, preventive care, and overall animal health
·Handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatments
·Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines and blood analyzers
·Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
·Assist with euthanasia procedures and provide compassionate support to grieving pet owners
·Manage inventory and order supplies for the clinic
·Conduct triage and provide emergency first aid to animals
·Assist with inventory management
·Stay current with industry developments and attend continuing education opportunities as required

Pay: The base hourly range for this position is $18.00 - $32.00. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, experience, education level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
