Veterinary Technician – Livingston Animal Hospital (Livingston, TX)

What You’ll Do

You’ll be hands-on in a true technician role, supporting our doctors and helping drive patient care forward. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in surgery and anesthesia monitoring
• Performing phlebotomy and placing IV catheters
• Providing nursing care and patient monitoring
• Supporting appointments and treatments across species
• Safely handling and restraining animals
• Collaborating closely with doctors and teammates to keep things running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

We’re open to different backgrounds— you don’t have to be licensed, but experience matters here.

• LVT preferred, but not required
• 2+ years of hands-on veterinary experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable with blood draws, IV catheters, and patient care
• Surgical experience is a big plus
• Interest or experience with large animals and/or exotics is a bonus
• Team player with strong communication and organization skills
• Able to work rotating Saturdays
• Adaptable and ready to jump into a fast-paced environment
