Veterinary Technician at VCA Beech Road Animal Hospital in Redford, MI

Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 4 x10 hour shifts.

The Role

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting patient care and client experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys patient care and wants to grow within a supportive team.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-op recovery

• Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs

• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM

• Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics

• Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments

• Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care

• Maintain accurate patient medical records

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, LVMT, RVT) or eligible to sit for the VTNE.

• $ 20 - 23/hr and pay range is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials.
