VCA Bloomington Animal Hospital is expanding and seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician!

Schedule:Full-timeopportunity. 4 x 10-hour shiftswithrotating Saturdays.

Compensation: $23.81 - 28/hr and the starting range for technicians isdeterminedby license, skill set, and years of experience in the field.

Snapshot of the Role:

Whether you are a seasoned Veterinary Technician or recent veterinary technician graduate, we want you to use the knowledge thatyou’veinvested your time and talent in. The skills that you will beutilizinginclude, but are not limited to:

• Collecting patient histories and performing physical exams.

• IVC placement and venipuncture

• Surgery Prep, monitoringanesthesiaand postoperative care of the patient (recovery)

• Dentals and dental radiographs

• Maintain patient records

• Client education and communication

• Perform andassistwith diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic procedures.

• Administer medications, vaccinations, and other prescribed treatments.

• Collaborate with veterinarians, fellow veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications:

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or eligible to transfer state license (LVT, RVT, LVMT).
