San Antonio Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time, experienced veterinary technician to join our established, close-knit team! If you enjoy practicing quality medicine, using your technical skills daily, and working in a supportive environment where your experience is valued, we’d love to meet you.
San Antonio Animal Hospital is a trusted, full-service veterinary practice that has been caring for pets in San Antonio, FL and surrounding communities for over 25 years. We pride ourselves on providing compassionate, high-quality medicine while building lasting relationships with our clients and patients.
Located in charming San Antonio, FL, our hospital enjoys small-town charm with easy access to the Tampa area — the perfect blend of a relaxed pace and modern convenience. Our team works collaboratively, values strong technical skills, and supports one another every day.
You’re an experienced veterinary technician who enjoys being involved in patient care from start to finish. You’re confident in your technical abilities, comfortable working independently, and take pride in doing things the right way.
We’re looking for someone with experience in:
Safe and effective animal handling and restraint
Phlebotomy in cats and dogs
In-house diagnostics, including:
Reading fecal samples
Ear cytology
Skin cytology
Supporting veterinarians during appointments and procedures
Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice to have, but not required:
Experience with surgery and anesthesia
Credentialed (CVT, RVT, or LVT) or eligible for licensure based on state requirements
8-hour shifts or variable scheduling
Monday through Saturday
Scrub allowance after 90 days
