Job Description

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking to utilise and develop their surgical skills to build a strong caseloadin a supportive, friendly practice.

Based in the market town of Daventry, this role offers a unique chance to take ownership of surgery within the practiceWith no other surgically biased vets in the team, all surgical cases will be directed to you, giving you the opportunity to grow your confidence, expand your surgical repertoire, and develop your own caseload

You’ll join a supportive team with a loyal, long-standing client base, working in a well-equipped practice with ultrasound, ECG, dental facilities, an in-house laboratory, and separate cat and dog wards

Daventryoffers the charm of market town living with great local amenities and countryside nearby, plus easy access via the M1 motorwayand A45 road

The role

  • Full-time: 40 hours across 4 days(part-time applications also welcome)

  • 1 in 3 Saturdaysor 1 in 6 full weekendsat Leamington Spa 24 Hour Veterinary Hospital

  • No out-of-hours (OOH)

About you

You’re a qualified MRCVS with a passion for clinical excellence and client care. You want to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients in consults and surgery to the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance

  • Develop tailored treatment plans with clients

  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team

  • Share your skills, inspiring others and supporting our Medivet communities’ development
