Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Northampton

Hours: 44 hours per week (4 x10hrs/day) + 1:4 Saturday mornings 5hr/days
Practice: Spinney Vets

Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum DOE. Plus Relocation allowance available – up to £5,000

Spinney Vets in Northampton are looking for a friendly, confident Vet to join our established team on a full-time basis. The team and practice

You’ll be joining a well-established and collaborative team of Vets, Nurses, Patient Care Assistants and Customer Care colleagues who work closely together to deliver excellent care to our patients and clients.

We actively encourage our associates to develop their clinical interests and support CPD in chosen areas. Our lead nurses are also expanding the nursing roles within the practice, something we’re incredibly proud of, helping ensure the whole team can work to their full potential and deliver outstanding patient care.

Spinneys Vets has two large branches, both RCVS GP accredited which are both well equipped. We have 2 certificate holders in Surgery with other vets training towards certificates in medicine and exotics. We perform Orthopaedics, endoscopy, laparoscopy, more complex common routine soft tissue surgical procedures including BOAS and physiotherapy. Collaboration is central to how we work. Whether it’s discussing complex cases, sharing knowledge or supporting colleagues in developing new skills, the team works closely together to create a positive learning environment that encourages professional growth.

What we’re looking for

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Confident managing both routine consultations and general surgery
• A collaborative team player who enjoys both sharing knowledge as well learning from and with colleagues
• Excellent communication skills
• Interest in developing clinical interests isn't just welcomed, its encouraged.

• A minimum of 3-5 years UK experience

• Comfortable with a small amount of sole charge
