Northfield Veterinary Center is Hiring a Surgeon!
Northfield Veterinary Center is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained small animal surgeon for a high-volume, production-driven opportunity in southern New Jersey.
Our ER-anchored hospital has built a consistent orthopedic caseload — TPLOs, fracture repairs, and elective soft tissue — with demand that currently outpaces our surgical capacity. We need a surgeon who wants to come in, operate, and earn. Full-time or part-time arrangements considered.
This is not a complex referral center environment. It's a well-run community hospital with a loyal client base, a reliable support team, and a caseload ready to go from day one. Compensation is production-based with strong earning potential — the volume is there if you want it
About the hospital:
Opened in May 2024, our facility offers Emergency, Critical Care, Cardiology, Surgery, and outpatient CT services—all under one roof. We are proud to have cultivated a dedicated and enthusiastic surgical team, and we’re excited to welcome a skilled surgeon to take the lead in a department that already has an established and growing caseload, particularly in orthopedics. For the right candidate, the earning potential is significant.
What You’ll Find at Northfield Veterinary Center:
Why Northfield? We’re the only specialty hospital within an 80-minute radius, providing a vital service to the local veterinary community. Located on the beautiful Jersey Shore, our hospital is just five minutes from the beach, 40 minutes from Philadelphia, and only 90 minutes from NYC. Northfield is a family-friendly community with top-rated schools and a more affordable housing market than North Jersey.
Ready to take the lead in a growing surgical service and make an impact in a vibrant coastal community?
Enjoy a competitive compensation package, exceptional earning potential, quality benefits, 401K retirement plan, generous sign-on bonus and relocation allowance, generous PTO, and growth opportunities at all levels.
The compensation range for this role will typically fall between $200,000 and $300,000 based on experience and qualifications. Interested candidates can confidentially submit their CV to Jennifer Harper, Talent Acquisition Partner at jennifer.harper@ethosvet.com
