Location Park Vet Group, Leicester

Job Type Permanent. Full-time

Hours 40 hours over 4-5 days with a 1:4 Saturday rota (8.30am-2pm and 1:15 Sunday (8am-7pm paid extra) no nights, we have a dedicated night team!

This role is ideally suited to someone eager to work across all GP areas and will involve consulting and operating in equal measure as part of the day team. We offer some fantastic referral, OOH, and advanced services, but we equally champion our primary care vets and the fantastic service we offer for routine and first opinion caseloads.

The Team

Park Vet Group was established over 100 years ago and is now a fully RCVS-accredited multi-site, primary care and mid-tier referral practice. We have sites in Whetstone, Glenfield, Saffron Lane & Scraptoft Lane, and all our practices are self-sufficient and are fully equipped to run independently, but we like to share best practices and work as one big team.

The Park Vet Group is based in the wonderful city of Leicester which is the largest city in the East Midlands. We have excellent travel links, access to good schools and beautiful countryside. What we’re looking for

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a small animal practice
  • A confident small animal Vet, comfortable with routine primary care duties and basic emergency procedures
  • An interest in developing advanced skills — CPD and professional growth are actively encouraged
  • Someone who values teamwork, enjoys variety and shares our passion for delivering exceptional patient care
