Job Title:Part-time Veterinary Surgeon

Salary:Up to £37,500 per annum

Location:The Barn Animal Practice

Job Type:Part-time

Hours:32 hours per week over 3 days, including 1:4 Saturdays, no OOH

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our fabulous, forward-thinking family at The Barn Animal Practice. We are a very friendly, sociable,caringand experienced team looking to always grow and develop.

The Barn Animal Practice has proudly served the local community for over 50 years, delivering high-quality veterinary care for small animalsAlongside cats, dogs, andrabbits, we also care for a wide range of small mammals and exotics, including guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, tortoises, and birds.

WhoWe’reLooking For

• We’reseeking a team-oriented Veterinary Surgeon with excellent communication skills and high clinical standards

• Interest in diagnostic imaging is desirable and basicproficiencyin abdominal ultrasound is essential due to the medical caseload

• Cardiac ultrasound experience is desirable

• Enjoy a varied role combining consults and surgery

• Comfortable working sole charge during some Saturdays

• Confident making independent clinical decisions
