Job Description

Are you passionate about teaching others, are tech savvy, and want to make a meaningful impact in the veterinary industry? We're hiring for a Veterinary Software Trainer on a 12 Month Fixed term contract at IDEXX!

We’re looking for passionate problem solvers to support the implementation of our ezyVet Practice Management software to our new customers. Our implementors are responsible for training our new customers on ezyVet, configuring their ezyVet Software site specific to the clinics needs, optimising workflows, and getting the clinic up and running smoothly. You'll be building important client relationships, problem solve and most importantly provide engaging virtual teaching on the software to set our new customers up for success.

This role requires travel, when fully onboarded you could find yourself onsite with customers through out the APAC region supporting them through GO-Live 2-3 weeks of every month When not travelling this role is based onsite at our Auckland office in a hybrid 3 in office 2 WFH working week.

We provide easy to use Software that helps veterinary practices save time, increase revenue, communicate better with clients and reduce workload stress. A bit more about the role, you will:

  • Training veterinary professionals on how to use Practice Management Software, specific to their role in the clinic.

  • Project manage implementations in partnership with our Implementation Specialists, ensuring each clinic/practice/hospital is confidently utilizing of software and configuration is fit for purpose.

  • Problem solve, understand the clinics needs and workflows to configure the software appropriately

  • Change management with the clinic

  • Build and deliver webinar based training and configuration curriculum.

  • Manage an assortment of projects all at different stages

  • Collaborate with internal teams to help craft the software, prioritize feature and fix releases, streamline processes and generally build amazing outcomes.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Hardworking. Are you results orientated and do what it takes to get the job done? We're all about getting the win for the team and our customers.

  • Experience working in a busy environment with strong time and time & project management skills.

  • Experience with project management is great but experience training training people on software or complex workflow even better!

  • Confidence to articulate complex subject matter to a range of audiences.

  • Excellent attitude, a sense of humor and coolness under pressure.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Experience in the veterinary industry a real bonus!

  • Willing and able to travel 2-3 weeks weeks of the month
