As a Rehabilitation Technician, you will work alongside doctors, shift leadership, and rehabilitation team members to deliver exceptional patient care and supportive client experience. You will assist with evaluations, perform rehabilitation treatments, communicate with pet owners, and play an important role in helping patients improve comfort, mobility, and confidence. This is a great opportunity for a motivated technician who enjoys learning, collaborating, mentoring newer team members, and celebrating meaningful patient progress.
Minimum requirement: two years of experience working as a veterinary technician.

In this role, you will receive directions from the Rehabilitation Director, who provides assignments, priorities, and support. You will handle routine responsibilities independently, use good judgment in new or unfamiliar situations, and partner with leadership to ensure care is delivered accurately, safely, and consistently.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, stand and restrain animals for extended periods of time. Required to lift up to forty (40) pounds. Employees will be expected to request assistance with lifting or carrying animals or materials over 40 pounds.

Central Texas Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Hospital provides referral and emergency services in Emergency & Critical Care, Surgery, Allergy & Dermatology, Rehabilitation, Conditioning & Massage, Neurology, and Canine Sports Therapy for companion animals. Each department of the hospital functions and interacts together to provide pets with the best care possible in a "team approach." At CTVSEH your pet and you are the primary concerns. The Doctors and staff at CTVSEH are dedicated to providing our clients with an honest and accurate assessment of their pet's medical condition. The best treatment and/or diagnostic plans are formulated for each pet based on our client's desires and the information provided to us. Appointments are made by obtaining a referral from a primary care veterinarian for specialty services. Emergency Care is on a walk-in basis during Emergency Care hours. (holidays, nights & weekends) We will work closely with your veterinarian in a manner that allows advanced care while maintaining compassion and affordable options.
