We are currently seeking a part-time Veterinary Records Assistant, as a valued member of the Veterinary Services Department at Auckland Zoo, which is located inside Auckland Zoo’s New Zealand Centre for Conservation Medicine. The veterinary team of 10+ zoo professionals work collaboratively to deliver positive Conservation Medicine outcomes for the zoo and for external stakeholders.
You will positively contribute to the zoo’s mission in the following core areas of responsibility:
This role involves working a minimum of 16-hours per week, typically two consecutive days in a normal working week (Monday-Friday). It is not anticipated that this position would work weekends or public holidays.

As a valued member of the Veterinary Services Department you will work closely with the other members of the veterinary team and the rest of the Animal Care & Conservation department to deliver excellent levels of patient care.
You will be dedicated, empathetic, resilient and remain solution-focused. As a skilled communicator, you will work well within the supportive and progressive team environment within the department.
