Auburn Animal Center is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our fantastic team. This dual role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with clients just as much as caring for their pets. Whether you’re helping at the front desk or supporting the clinical team, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

What You’ll Do

• Provide friendly, compassionate service to clients and their pets
• Help create a welcoming and positive experience from check-in through check-out
• Support veterinarians and the clinical team with patient care
• Assist with safe, compassionate patient handling and restraint
• Help prepare exam and treatment areas for appointments and procedures
• Support the team with day-to-day veterinary assistant responsibilities
• Assist with front-desk and reception responsibilities as needed
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and fellow team members
• Help keep patient and client information accurate and organized
• Work collaboratively with the entire hospital team to keep the day running smoothly
• Provide empathy and compassion to clients, patients, teammates, and yourself
• Contribute to a positive, supportive, and fun workplace culture

What You’ll Bring

• Previous veterinary assistant and/or veterinary reception experience
