Role: Veterinary Receptionist Status: Full-time Salary: $18–$19 per hour Schedule: Five days per week with a flexible schedule; Saturday availability required; no nights or holiday hours

What You'll Do

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
• Answer incoming phone calls and route messages appropriately
• Respond to client voicemails in a timely manner
• Schedule appointments and efficiently manage a multi-doctor calendar
• Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient information
• Collect payments and process invoices accurately
• Maintain complete and organized medical records
• Coordinate communication between clients and the medical team
• Help facilitate smooth patient flow throughout the day
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Provide excellent customer service during every client interaction
• Support teammates throughout the hospital as needed
• Maintain confidentiality of client and patient information
• Help create a positive experience for every client and patient who visits the hospital

What You'll Bring

• Previous veterinary reception experience is preferred but not required
• Bilingual skills are preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A warm, confident, and compassionate communication style
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
• The ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and dependable work habits
• A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology is preferred
• Experience with Avimark practice management software is preferred
• Comfort working around cats and dogs of all sizes
• A commitment to providing exceptional client service
• A willingness to learn and grow professionally
