Position DetailsRole: Veterinary Receptionist Status: Full-time Salary: $17.50–$19.00 per hour; negotiable based on experience and qualifications Schedule: Four-day work week (including Saturdays); no nights, on-call shifts, after-hours emergencies, or holiday hours

What You'll Do

  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage multiple priorities throughout the day
  • Maintain accurate medical records and client information
  • Process payments, invoices, and daily financial transactions
  • Respond to client questions and direct calls to the appropriate team members
  • Recognize urgent and emergency situations and communicate them appropriately to the medical team
  • Coordinate with doctors and technicians to keep the hospital running efficiently
  • Help create an exceptional client experience from check-in through checkout

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • At least one year of customer service experience; veterinary experience is preferred
  • Outstanding communication and client service skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Confidence using computers and learning new software
