Stratford Hills Veterinary Center is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to join our welcoming, team-oriented small animal practice. As the first and last point of contact for our clients, our reception team plays an essential role in creating exceptional experiences while helping our medical team deliver outstanding patient care.

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do

  • Welcome clients and create a friendly, professional first impression
  • Answer and manage multiple phone lines efficiently
  • Communicate with clients in a calm, compassionate, and knowledgeable manner
  • Schedule appointments while maintaining an efficient daily schedule
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records
  • Process payments and explain invoices when needed
  • Review discharge instructions with clients
  • Dispense routine medications and preventive products while providing basic client education
  • Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and fellow reception team members
  • Help ensure the hospital operates efficiently while delivering exceptional client service

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring

  • Previous veterinary reception or client service experience preferred
  • Experience in a veterinary hospital is strongly preferred
  • Fear Free Certification is a plus
  • Experience with Avimark practice management software is beneficial
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • A caring, compassionate, and dependable personality
  • The ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment
  • Initiative, professionalism, and a willingness to continue learning
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude
