Position DetailsRole: Experienced Veterinary Receptionist Status: Part-time Salary: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys building relationships with clients, stays organized in a busy environment, and takes pride in helping the hospital run smoothly.

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
• Answer incoming calls, route messages appropriately, and respond to voicemails promptly
• Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently
• Check clients and patients in and out
• Confirm and update client and patient information
• Collect payments, process invoices, and review estimates with clients
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with record requests
• Manage appointment reminders and basic administrative tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and welcoming lobby
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and fellow receptionists to support an efficient hospital workflow
• Provide calm, compassionate support during both routine and emotional visits

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring

• Strong understanding of common veterinary appointment types
• Basic knowledge of preventive care and vaccines

• Basic computer skills and confidence learning veterinary software
