Position Details

  • Role: Experienced Veterinary Receptionist
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
  • Schedule: Approximately 30 hours/week. Weekends OFF!

Country Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to our front desk team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, providing great client service, and who enjoys working with a team in a positive work environment. This role plays an important part in our community's reputation and in supporting our clients and patients by providing great customer service. A love of animals and a customer service background is a great fit for this position. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and kindness matter, then you will fit right in!

What You’ll Do

  • Greet clients and patients warmly and create a positive first impression
  • Maintain a professional attitude every day
  • Manage multiple phone lines and communicate with clients via email and text throughout the day
  • Schedule appointments, process payments, and manage daily workflow for a multi-doctor practice
  • Maintain accurate client and patient records
  • Ensure that the reception area is welcoming, clean, and comfortable for clients.
  • Communicate and coordinate with doctors and support staff to maintain smooth patient flow
