Position Details

  • Role: Veterinary Receptionist
  • Status: Full-time
  • Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
  • Schedule: Four weekdays, 8 am - 5 pm. Saturday, 8 am - 12:30 pm.

Animal Care and Wellness Center is an ever-growing, two-doctor small-animal practice seeking an outstanding, responsible individual to join our team – our ohana – as a full-time Client Service Representative (CSR). Our ideal candidate is outgoing, friendly, and ready to greet clients and patients with a warm smile and plenty of Aloha! We foster a culture of continuous learning and growth, so you should be eager to support both our clients and medical team while contributing to a positive, professional environment. What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring

  • A friendly, positive attitude: A warm, easygoing demeanor with a genuine love for working with pets and their owners.
  • Excellent customer service skills: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills—both in person and over the phone.
  • Organization and attention to detail: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay on top of scheduling, payments, and records.

What You’ll Do

  • Being the first and last impression for our clients—greeting them warmly and ensuring an exceptional experience from check-in to check-out.
  • Managing phone communications: scheduling appointments, answering questions, and directing calls appropriately.
  • Handling financial transactions: processing invoices, payments, and providing estimates.
  • Maintaining accurate records in our system, including client communications and patient updates.
  • Supporting the medical team by facilitating smooth patient flow, communicating wait times, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Participating in marketing and social media efforts to help promote our hospital and services.
  • Assisting with inventory and supply management as needed.
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming lobby and front desk area.
