Position Details

• Role: Veterinary Receptionist
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: Competitive and based on experience
• Schedule: Four-day workweeks. Rotating Saturdays (7 am - 1 pm)

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and responsible Veterinary Receptionist to join our busy mixed animal clinic. If you enjoy working with people and animals, take pride in providing exceptional customer service, and thrive as part of a supportive team, we’d love to meet you!

As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for both clients and their animals. Because we’re a mixed animal practice, every day brings something different. You’ll help keep our front desk organized, our communication flowing, and our clients supported while working closely with veterinarians, technicians, and fellow team members.

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do

• Welcome clients and patients with a friendly, professional, and compassionate attitude
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to client inquiries
• Check clients and patients in and out of the clinic
• Process payments accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records
• Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and other team members
• Assist with the day-to-day organization and flow of the clinic
• Provide compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional customer service
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Manage a variety of responsibilities with professionalism, accuracy, and a positive attitude
• Multitask effectively while keeping client and patient needs at the center of what you do
• Jump in and contribute wherever needed to support your teammates and the clinic
