Role: Veterinary Receptionist Status: Part-time Salary: Negotiable and based on experience Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Wednesdays 10 am - 4:00/6:00 pm, Fridays 12 pm - 6:00 pm

Health and Wellness Animal Hospital in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire, is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team.

As one of the first people our clients meet, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for pets and their families. From answering phones and scheduling appointments to helping clients navigate their visits, you’ll keep communication flowing and help our busy hospital run smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
• Serve as an important first point of contact for the hospital
• Answer incoming phone calls and manage multiple phone lines
• Schedule and coordinate veterinary appointments
• Respond to client questions and provide accurate information
• Check patients and clients in and out for appointments
• Process invoices and collect payments
• Maintain accurate client and patient information
• Update records and document client communications
• Communicate effectively with veterinarians and support staff
• Help coordinate information between clients and the medical team
• Assist clients with questions about appointments, services, and hospital procedures
• Provide compassionate customer service during routine and stressful situations
• Help maintain an organized and welcoming reception area
• Use hospital computer systems and veterinary software
• Support efficient front-desk workflow during busy periods
• Assist with general administrative responsibilities as needed
• Help create an exceptional experience for every client and pet
