Our general practice provides a wide range of services, including wellness and senior care, cold laser therapy, nutritional counseling, specialty soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, advanced dentistry, and more.

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do

  • Greet clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
  • Answer and manage multiple phone lines efficiently
  • Schedule appointments and help maintain an organized daily workflow
  • Check patients in and out while ensuring accurate client and patient information
  • Collect payments, process invoices, and review estimates with clients
  • Communicate hospital policies, pricing, and service information clearly
  • Manage medical record requests, reminders, and other administrative tasks
  • Assist with prescription and medication pickup coordination
  • Communicate with clients through phone, email, and other hospital communication channels
  • Help manage lobby flow and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Handle client questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Coordinate closely with veterinarians and the medical team to support efficient patient flow
  • Maintain accurate client and patient records
  • Jump in wherever needed to help keep the day running smoothly

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous veterinary reception or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Clear, professional, and compassionate communication

  • Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations
  • Comfort working with computers and practice management software
  • Familiarity with veterinary terminology and common appointment types is a plus
