What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll help keep communication flowing and the hospital running smoothly while creating a welcoming experience for every client who contacts or visits us.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming clients and patients with professionalism and compassion
  • Answering multi-line phones, emails, and client inquiries
  • Scheduling appointments and helping manage daily hospital communications
  • Processing payments
  • Maintaining accurate client and patient records
  • Coordinating client referrals and medical record requests
  • Maintaining organized patient files and hospital documentation
  • Communicating effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
  • Educating clients on hospital services and basic preventive care information
  • Supporting daily hospital operations through organization and front desk coordination
  • Helping maintain an efficient and welcoming reception area
  • Providing thoughtful, responsive client service throughout the day
