Position Details

Role: Veterinary Receptionist Status: Full-time Salary: Negotiable and based on experience. Schedule: 4 Day work week and rotating Saturdays

What You'll Do

  • Greet and check in clients and their pets
  • Answer and manage a multi-line phone system
  • Schedule appointments and maintain accurate client and patient records
  • Process payments and assist with front-office transactions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Support veterinarians and the veterinary team with administrative tasks
  • Help create a positive and efficient experience for every client who visits or contacts the hospital

What You'll Bring

  • A passion for animals and exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • The ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  • A compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented approach
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Veterinary clinic, animal hospital, or animal care experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience with scheduling software is a plus, but not required
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
