Role: Client Service Representative (CSR) / Veterinary Receptionist Status: Full-time Salary: $19.18-$22.00, dependent upon experience Schedule: 4-day work week; no nights or on-call shifts

What You’ll Do

  • Welcome clients and patients while providing exceptional customer service
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
  • Schedule appointments for wellness visits, surgeries, procedures, rechecks, and urgent care appointments
  • Answer phones and assist clients with questions and hospital services
  • Prepare and maintain patient records and charts
  • Assist with prescription processing and client education regarding medication administration
  • Process invoices, collect payments, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Support over-the-counter product sales and client recommendations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the reception and waiting areas
  • Assist with client communications, reminders, welcome packets, and hospital correspondence
  • Support emergency intake communication and coordinate with hospital staff as needed
  • Utilize practice management software and hospital systems efficiently and accurately

What Our Client Service Representatives Bring

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Prior customer service experience required; veterinary or medical office experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email applications
  • Knowledge of veterinary products and services preferred
  • Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
  • Ability to remain calm and compassionate during stressful situations
