Position Details

Role: Client Relationship Specialist (Veterinary Receptionist) Status: Full-time Salary: Negotiable and based on experience Schedule: 4 or 5-day weeks with closing shift (8 am-7 pm or 10 am -7 pm)rotating Saturday shifts

Austin Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital is seeking a compassionate, dependable Client Relationship Specialist to join our exceptional team. Located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, our hospital brings advanced diagnostics, specialty services, and routine veterinary care together under one roof. From CT scans and ultrasound to endoscopy, arthroscopy, advanced dentistry, and a fully equipped in-house laboratory, we're committed to providing comprehensive care and an outstanding experience for every client and patient.

What Our Client Relationship Specialists Do

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and their pets
  • Answer phone calls, text messages, and emails professionally and compassionately
  • Schedule appointments, procedures, and diagnostic services accurately
  • Welcome clients and patients while managing check-in and check-out efficiently
  • Facilitate communication between clients and the medical team
  • Maintain accurate client, patient, and medical records within the practice management system
  • Process payments, collect deposits, and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Help resolve client concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and lobby area
  • Assist with additional administrative duties as needed

What Our Client Relationship Specialists Bring

  • At least two years of customer service experience
  • Veterinary reception experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A friendly, patient, and compassionate attitude
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • A positive, team-oriented work ethic
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently
  • Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology is preferred
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
