Position Details

  • Role: Veterinary Receptionist
  • Status: Part-Time
  • Salary: $16.00–$18.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Specific schedule to be discussed at interview. Must be available to work 3–4 Saturdays or Sundays per month

Our reception team plays a vital role in creating a welcoming experience for every client and patient, supporting the medical team, and helping the hospital operate efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both customer service and hands-on involvement in patient care.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Check patients in and out using hospital software systems
  • Answer phones, emails, texts, and client inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Schedule appointments and manage daily appointment flow
  • Process payments and accurately handle cash and credit card transactions
  • Assist with boarding admissions and discharges
  • Obtain patient histories and support client education efforts
  • Assist doctors and team members with patient check-ins, drop-offs, and discharges
  • Provide safe patient restraint as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Support daily front desk operations and hospital workflow
