We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Zetland Vets on a full-time permanent basis.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

We are looking for two new team members to work 40 hours per week, covering a mix of shifts between 8 am- 8pm on Mondays to Friday and Saturday 8.30am - 5pm on a 1:4 rota.

Key Responsibilities

*Welcoming clients and their pets in a professional and friendly manner.

*Managing front-of-house.

*Dispensing medications.

*Booking appointments.

*Getting paper-work ready in advance for the Vets.

*Attending training events to maintain knowledge and awareness required for this role.

*Keep waiting areas, consulting rooms, and offices, stocked and clean.

*Entering information onto patient record systems accurately and in a timely manner.

*Assisting the vets and nurses as and when required.

*Registering new clients and explaining our services and offers.

*Taking payments and processing daily banking.

*Some sole charge.

*Any other administrative tasks.
